Backpacks

I spent a bit of time this morning with volunteers at St Bridget's in Ballieston in Glasgow packing back packs which go to children in Malawi, via the "Mary's Meals" charity which originated in Argyll.

At the end of next week I am going to Malawi to take part in the inter-governmental commission and visit a range of projects supported by the Scottish Government , including schools run by Mary's Meals.

It was very interesting to learn a lot more about the charity and to meet those who put so much time and commitment into it.
