Calm………………………….

…………...….& Innocent

This morning the sea looked gentle and calm. It was quite a different story two days ago when tropical cyclone Fehi, downgraded to a storm as it neared NZ, arrived and wreaked havoc to many parts of the country, especially coastal areas.

The extra photos show the once smooth walking / cycling track near the sandspit in Motueka. It is now pitted and rough from pounding waves while logs and debris were washed across the walkway providing an obstacle course in many parts.
