Damn pipi

Gorgeous afternoon at the beach in a sheltered spot from the wind. Then Lauren stood on a pipi in the water and cut a chunk out of her foot so badly that at time of posting this (8 1/2 hrs later), it's still bleeding a bit when I sorted her bandage out just before. Unfortunately not anything that can be stitched. Totally under control, but a not so brilliant way to start a long weekend. Absolute trooper though, and Caitlin is 'practising caring for other people'... We'll see how long that lasts!
