After the Cyclone...

It was supposed to be an ex-cyclone but I think they forgot to tell the weather gods.

Today Blipmate and I went to the coastal area called the Kumeras to see what damage had been done in the storm. A well used walking and cycle trail runs along here and what a mess it was with huge logs tossed across the path and rubbish everywhere. There is a pic of Blip mate walking along part of the trail, in the extras. During the storm the water swept across the path and in the paddock on the right the rubbish is marking how far the sea went  It was only a fence that stopped that huge log from going there too.

My blip however is looking out across the mudflats to the incoming tide.
I just couldn't resist that mackerel sky .
