GRAMS BEAR
Not much to report today. Very quiet. Packed up some things to post and this afternoon I walked down to the village to the Post Office. Then to Tesco to buy some fruit. It was freezing cold again.
I have tagged my blip shot for two challenges - Flower Friday and Tiny People. The figure is a Care Bear called Grams Bear. She stands 2 inches tall and her belly symbol is a pink rose with a yellow bow. She is wearing a pink shawl. She is the grandmother of the Care Bears family.
The Care Bears are a group of multi-colored bear characters. The original artwork was painted in 1981 to be used on greetings cards but the characters were later used for toys, and in TV programs and films. Each Care Bear comes in a different color and has a specialised insignia on its belly that represents its personality. My daughter Becky was a great Care Bears fan when she was little and had an assortment of soft toys and little figures. I found this one when I was having a sort out. Thanks to BikerBear for hosting Flower Friday and Hanulli for hosting the Tiny People challenge
