A Grand Day Out

Got up this morning and on a whim decided to take the Hovercraft over to the Isle of Wight.
What a good decision.  The weather on the south of island was just glorious but didn't help the "Seaside towns in the Winter" project we have going.  It looked like the most wonderful summer's day.

We got the bus to Sandown and then walked along the coast to Shanklin, then we got the bus to Ventnor and had a walk around there.

Back to Southsea and a slap up meal in the Turkish restaurant and it wasn't even a special occasion!
