Fly-By Shooting

A car load of stuff dropped of at the charity shop and then up to drop of a couple of bits of paperwork ........ and another unexpected hour and a half of prep work for the final clearout. All furniture has been found new homes (apart from the cooker - which will be dump bound) which is pretty good.
The only items w were unsure about their final destination were an old Kenwood mixer (with mincer attachment), a large breadmaker and a pressure cooker  which looks brand new.
So SWMBO and I took them to the cafe we go to with The Cygnet while Squirrel is at gymnastics. The place is actually a cookery school and the chef nearly bit our arms off when we offered him the stuff. His mixer can now go back to his house where it belongs and the breadmaker means that he will no longer have to buy in gluten free bread. We were delighted that the stuff didn't have to head for the dump (and we didn't have to pay for our drinks and cake). The cygnet also really enjoyed being allowed to help make rolls.

When we got home The Cygnet asked if we could go for a walk so he could go birdwatching with his new binoculars (picture by his sister who wanted to carry something). So she took one of my wee cameras. Despite complaining it was too bright to see the screen (it gave me th chance to shoot her rainbow (fruit smelling) nails). Despite complaining about the brightness she actually has an eye for a picture and does her best to get a shot when she likes the colours or shadows (both of which she commented on before taking those). I am sure if she could hold the long lens or understand spot metering she would take some damned fine artistic shots (cough, cough).
