Move over cabbage

Flower Friday: "Move over cabbage"

I think that it was the film "The Queen" starring Helen Mirren, that features Prince Philip fondly asking the Queen to make room as he gets into bed with the expression "move over cabbage".  Somehow it seems a charming nickname.  Its not been used in "The Crown" as far as I can tell, but I may have missed it.  Perhaps that particular royal nickname is being reserved for series 3?

This is a cabbage flower, which is not unattractive when used in a bouquet with other blooms.  I'm afraid that this particular cabbage has been around a while now and the bouquet of which it formed part is about to move to the compost heap for recycling.  Indeed, time to move over cabbage. :-)
