La Candelora

Today is “La Candelora”, an important day in the year for us Italians. The proverb goes “se piove o se gragnola dell’inverno siamo fora; col sole o solicello nell’inverno siamo dentro”. It means that if it rains, the winter is finished; if it’s sunny, the winter is not finished yet.
