Wonky apples
It seems Aldi is trying to get people excited about wonky fruit!
I know that food waste is a big problem these days, and I don't have an issue with less than perfect fruit and veg, but I wonder if advertising the wonkyness will actually put some people off buying them? If they just kept quiet I bet no one would be any the wiser, although I suppose wonky produce is a taking point these days and Aldi want to be seen as doing A Good Thing.
I think I'm putting too much thought into this!
(On closer inspection, I don't see any wonky fruit in my bag. Now I feel cheated!)
