High tide on the Solway

I thought that as the high tide was probably only going to be around one more day I may as well go and have a look at it. It didn't go across the road today but still looked impressive, so Bonnie and I walked along a bank as far as we could go. As we headed back to the car I saw a friend with her two collies who were having a great time splashing around in the water and chasing after sticks.

The view is towards Eastriggs in Scotland, visibility was good and I could see the motorway traffic in the far distance heading to and from Scotland.
