I use this old pub water jug in my studio.

Looks like it's full of pink lemonade but I've just rinsed out a brushful of reddish watercolour. Pubs & hotels usedh glassware & ashtrays like this. They were early forms of advertising. This one promotes Senior Service cigarettes - "Senior Service satisfies"
