Simon part 4

I went to Bristol today to visit a friend who's little 10 year old boy is in hospital there. He's been diagnosed with a heart condition that requires a transplant. Because this wasn't picked up earlier, his poor little heart is pretty worn out now and he's at the top of the list should a suitable donor come along.

Won't go into the whole story here but will just say that his parents are amazingly strong and an inspiration, as the course of the diagnosis and treatment til now has not been straightforward, yet they have taken each issue in their stride and are remarkably upbeat. We laughed a lot this afternoon!

But I forgot my camera!!! So here's part 4 of Simon, almost finished, which is what Sav's been up to whilst I was out of his hair ( if only he had any left! ).
