End of The Pier
After a day out in Elgin shopping, I'd drawn a blip-blank... good excuse to leave the jammied-up hordes in the cottage and head to the harbour to continue my self-taught night photography course. I'm still learning something every time I go out. Tonight, I learnt that light-painting boats in a harbour was a bit silly as they bob up and down and come out all blurry. The brickwork stays still though, and I was quite happy with this shot. It'll be photoshopped to black out the sky before I do anything else with it though, but not this week...I'm on holiday :-)
