The Big Smoke.....

I had to go to London today ahead of our holiday next week to get Hannah a new passport. Hers hasn't run out, it is just that it isn't valid for 6 months after we return. What is the point of expiry dates if they don't count? GRrrr !!!

Anyway, a day away from work, although I took it with me and logged in remotely until my battery died (I left the power cable at home!!) and £106.50 later the problem is resolved!!

I really like visiting London, but only for short bursts....I could never live there. When I got there and walked over Westminster bridge it was as though something had happened - there was no one about!! I guess none of the tourists had dragged their lazy asses out of bed by that stage!

Now back home and have caught up with what I missed today..... Am off to Yeovilton tomorrow for back brief from our customer on my last report - wish me luck!!!
