A Day of Two Halves

A perfect blue sky morning dissolved into a grey and wet afternoon.  Not sure where the morning went but I did manage to grab a few minutes outside.  By the time I got back outside this afternoon there was moisture in the air but I managed half an hour of weeding and cutting back before the rain drove me indoors.  It was nice to catch up with friends tonight when the AGS local group committee meeting was held around our kitchen table.

Iris reticulata 'Pauline' was looking good in the morning sunshine.
