The Bullring at Alcudia

Not quite "Death in the Afternoon" but a morning stroll around the bullring, with a complimentary soft drink and use of the toilets thrown in with the entry ticket. Cant say I approve of bullfighting, which is still staged here, but it was interesting see a ring at firsthand. This one is just outside the still complete ancient city walls, which we spent the morning walking round. Alcudia is a well preserved old town and a total contrast to its commercialised beach resort, PortD'Alcudia a mile or so down the road. After some chilling in and around our villa pool, we went back their in the evening for an excellent paella.
