The Day Job

2 years' decoration of the hall is nearing its end. Not that I made much progress today, with 2 funerals to attend. 2 friends who died too young but both made remarkable contributions. One retired from running a Youth Offending Service, but then went back to work in a residential home for young adults. The other continued his campaigning from his hospital bed, from where he was wheeled to the hospital atrium to address, and support, the striking junior doctors.
