A Wider View

It's been a lovely day. After the jobs were done I headed up to the moor. I parked at Hound Tor and walked past Swallerton Gate and on to Hayne Down. Normally, I drive there and walk up the hill to Bowerman's Nose but I felt it would be good to walk, it's only a couple of miles, and I also thought I'd try a longer shot of edifice instead of my normal close-up with wideangle lens.

The sky darkened and a little bit of rain blew in on the strong cold wind but the rain didn't last long, I'm pleased to say, but the dark clouds did give a good background to the scene.
