Terminal Frost

This morning, the weather was gorgeous with clear skies, but up here that means really cold. The thermometer showed -20C. Yet, we ventured out for  a 10+ km skiing trek. It was quite ok once we had warmed up in motion sufficiently. This I took when returning to the skiing centre, the top parts of the fell had some sort of strange haze. Apparently it was too cold for alpine skiing as the slopes were empty and the lifts were not in operation.
