Dry January

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

It’s the last day of January. Thank God. There are a couple of guys in the office doing dry January and the daily counting is driving me insane. Kitty Cat also had her own version of ‘dry’ January where she drank on a couple of nights out because there’s no way I’m staying sober on bigger nights out’ which made me laugh.

I learned from Rod today that in Ireland, where alcohol is one of the things given up for Lent, they get a pass for St Patrick’s day. Even the staunchest Catholics will have a few. Some things are more sacred!

That’s my working week done. Perfect.
