2018 Wednesday — Train

We made the 4 hour drive to SoCal today. Hills to our east and the Pacific Ocean to our immediate west (but not in the photo).

Somewhere south of Santa Barbara but before we reached Ventura, we saw this train. Why is it so fun to see a train?

I have a Friday faculty meeting (9:00-3:00) at the campus so we’re in SoCal for 2 days and 3 nights and plan to head back to the Central Coast on Saturday morning and stay there for a little over a week till Monday morning , February 12. Then the spring semester begins.

So here’s the news we’ve been waiting for all month— the escrow closed today on our little rental house. A fabulous way to end this month.
