Super Blue (Blood) Moon

Well, thanks BBC Breakfast, that's me told.

I studied astrophysics, I'm in the middle of a topic teaching my students about the moon, and I run two photography clubs at the school. And did I bother to get my camera (or rather pathetic telescope) out last night? Nope.

"Look, there's the super blue blood moon!" I said to my husband when he came home last night.
"Where?"

This was my attempt to capture the once-in-a-lifetime moment from this morning, through our study window as the moon edged towards the roof of the opposite building.
