Heat and Wind

Sure is a hot day with 35c. The wind at time its gale force. The morning started off cool with 24c and we had a very light shower. Different story this afternoon.

I did just manage to get this shot.. all my other shots were no good, because of the wind. The garden has had a battering this afternoon. There must be plants all over the place. It is too hot to go outside to look at them.

Because of trees falling by high winds in Christchurch there have been some road closures today. Also flooding because of the King Tides.

A State of Emergency has been declared in some places in New Zealand as the remnatsr of Tropical Cyclone Fehi hits the country. We are expecting the heavy rains later tonight.
