Back On Our Pavements

Back to 23-24C after the cold and deluvian tendencies of Scotland. All the Scots coming up the finger from the plane nearly knelt to kiss the ground as the humidity engulfed them and they sweated profusely in their bubble jackets, wraps and anoraks.

Nice to be home...our next visitor, due in today from Saudi Arabia, missed her connection in Dubai and will arrive tomorrow instead. We took the opportunity for a stroll along Gran Via and a beer in one of its oldest cafes, Bar Alegria.
