which hat are you wearing today?

Multi tasking is the new competence, and if stereotypes are to be believed then I am disadvantaged by my sex. Men don't multi-task, I'm told. Men can only wear one hat at a time.
Anyway, that's not my point today, it's about the fact that we are often different things, different individuals, depending on which people we are with. I guess at one level , that's life! We present "the face" we need. In Greek drama a mask wearer was literally called a "hypocrite", one who hides behind a mask, or in today's blip, a hat.
However if there's ever a time to be who you are, it's in today's world of fake news, prejudicial attitudes and increased marginalisation of many groups, who we don't like.
So, I guess this is a call to stand up and be yourself, for you, for others, for the good of the place you call home. Don't be afraid to be yourself. Don't be afraid of assisting others to do the same.
