Semington (Tuesday January 30th 2018)

Had a saunter along the towpath from the bridge at Semington up to the swing bridge at Little Marsh and back as far as Semington Lock, from where this shot was taken.
To my left on private land were the first clumps of snowdrops I have come across this year. Along the way I saw some courting moorhens, a woodpigeon in a tree and a couple of cows, one somewhat shy, and had a chat to a chap who was walking back from Hilperton to his home in Little Marsh five minutes away.
