The Question Mark.

? marks are popping up all over the lower clyde area. Today's blip is of a very still River Clyde and the ? with the Elephant Rock of Dumbarton in the background. Being another horrible day I went down to West Ferry to do the rock and here was one of the ?. They are part of a project by artist Alec Galloway to celebrate the work of the late George Wyllie a well known character of the community in Gourock who passed away earlier this year at the grand old age of 90. I had the pleasure of photographing him many times in the eighties with several of his lets say unusual sculptures. Wyllies ? was last week hung from the Finnieston Crane as was his straw train during the Glasgow Garden Festival.
