Looking Up

Monday arrived, and with it came some challenges.  It was the first day of Sugar's new term at school, and so a few of her classes changed.  She was dismayed to find that she has now ZERO classes with her cousin, and several fewer classes with her closest friends.  This was pretty disappointing to her.  I wanted to make it better, but remembered that she doesn't want me to fix it.  She wants me to understand that she is sad.  So we were sad about it, and will look for silver linings later.  

After work, I picked her up at swim, and we snapped this shot of an ivy covered tree on our road.  I have always admired it, but haven't taken the time to capture it.  I rather like this perspective.
