Worthy of note

A calm, dry and peaceful morning walk on the beach. Not been a regular feature recently so it was a bit of a treat.

Today’s big news was Will’s brace fitting. He is a proper good boy, no fuss or bother. It’s a plate which for now he can take out to eat while he gets used to it but it’s in the rest of the time. The orthodontist sent him home with instructions to talk a lot to get used to it, I don’t think I had really noticed how quiet he normally is. We have had quite the chatter box as he attempts to get his s’s sounding normal before school tomorrow. He can get it in and out like a pro now and his main challenge is actually long sentences when he can run out of steam. Oh, and the s’s, obv.
