Pasture Lane Cottage

The lintel over the door reads '1695 EMK' The lintel over the upstairs window reads '1692 WSIS'. So obviously the upstairs was built before the downstairs, which seems a bit unconventional.  Or perhaps that was normal in the 17th century.
