Another random selection of history books. While choosing the section, Mr B explained his 'entirely logical' (his words, not mine) system for arranging history books. Dewey decimal it ain't.

Earlier, tax stuff was sorted - despite some extreme annoyance at some very dodgy hmrc calculations - and we have crept in under the wire. Later we prised the kids out of the telly room for a game which Mr B (obviously) won and I (as usual) was last. Turns out, the rules are lost, and there was a certain amount of shouting about what they should be and later a relatively calm discussion on what they will be next time.

Later still, I learned stuff about Prussia and Poland with some hastily scribbled maps but not - to my disappointment - a Venn diagram.
