Two in one
It was a beautiful late afternoon and I met the photogenic stallion again. This time he had with no objection to being snapped. As I focused on him a pale shape wafted into the tangle of bushes in the background and another shot (extra) revealed a buzzard perched in the blackthorn thicket immediately above and beyond the horse's ears.
The sun set in a clear sky at 16.50.
Update: Thanks to MsQuizzical and my bird advisor Stefan, the 'buzzard' has been identified as a goshawk which is even more satisfying.
