Snowy walk

Cathie, Toby and I went to Fountains Abby for a walk this afternoon. The weather picked up the further away from Skipton we went. (Unfortunately a normal phenomenon!)
We had a great walk and running after an escapee Toby was even lovely in the deep snow with soft grass underneath! He had been happily rummaging around so I dropped the lead as he was coming back no problem. But then a pheasant decided to flutter past him! To be fair it wasn't actually that pheasant. When that one got too far out of reach Toby stopped and looked back at me and was starting to come back when a second pheasant decided to fly past him in the opposite direction!!!
The couple at the bottom of the hill ensured us that he was "looking so happy with his lead flying behind him"!!! Hahahaha!
