Reflecting on a Rose
Thank you so much to ClydeBorn who put the idea of a reflection into my head after her comment on my dandelion clocks of yesterday (and thank you all so much for the comments, stars and hearts you gave those - I was amazed, nay, astounded!) .....
Here is the same rose that I featured on the 14th - it has now opened up - and it looks so different with a bluey background and it's own out-of-focus reflection.
Oh yes and not forgetting pink for BCAM.
For those interested in the "how" - a mirror, white material, wide aperture, bright torch (flashlight), camera, tripod and a medium ISO ..... then - camera, lights, action ....... lol.
For some reason (the techies amongst you will know why) the white background came out blue unless I wound the ISO and white balance way up and then the colour drained out of the flower and the whole photo looked much more grainy.
No blip tomorrow as I'm heading for a day (work) trip to Germany - Happy Thursday everyone and see y'all on Saturday.
And a quick question: Is anyone else finding blip a little slow to load over the past couple of days???
UPDATE: Blip have apologised and explained - 3.30pm UK time - thanks guys we know you are doing your best!!
