Mid Air Strawberry!!!

Not that Jeff's lectures are bad...quite the opposite. But after seeing it the first five times I assigned myself a task...see if I can get a shot when the flash is going off.

This one is my best...the auditorium was smaller and made it easy to be in the front and on the same side of the background as the strawberry. Got it mid air...with nice light on Jeff's face. Jeff's not quite as crazy about this image because it is showing him releasing his shutter too early. But it happens...and he always nails it within a few tries. The results are really cool.

I try to shoot different shutters...and always as fast as it can go. Slower shutter speeds with a better chance of the shutter being open when it flashes seems to be the way to go. It is amazing, although it is fast I know if I've gotten the shot or not just based on whether I see the flash in the viewfinder.

This could be my last one...gotta assign myself something new.
