First Day of Kindergarten

Of course in Australianese kindergarten is called kindy, just like an avocado is an avo and McDonald’s is Maccas.

So that’s how happy she was to start her official education. I had to peel her off me when I dropped her off, in tears of course. And she was in tears when I came to pick her up. I am told that the rest of the day she was fine. Tomorrow another take. And then till next Monday, as our lovely government pays for 2 days a week for preschoolers.
