On our Drive

Well, my day started out early. I actually stayed home and worked on my computer instead of going into the office. I am feeling better today! Just needed quiet space to get a few things done. We needed to go meet someone in the city of Roseburg which is almost a 2 hour drive. Had all good intentions to leave early enough to be able to stop for photo ops (husbands idea!) but, not to be. Had to drive straight there and got there 2 minutes after the meet time. Pretty good! Decided to make our drive back more leisurely. Found a wonderful antique mall that we will have to go back and take more time to go through. The route we took neither of us had been on so it was fun to drive through different communities and some gorgeous scenery! The shot I used being one of them :) I tried one of the treatments on picasa, hdr'ish I think. Not sure about it..... pretty shot though :)

Another thing we discovered was a covered bridge! I just LOVE covered bridges and didn't realize there was one this close to us. In all of Oregon there are 52 covered bridges left. I would like to photograph all of them one day. I have only seen maybe 10 or so of them. Someday. The one we saw today is the Sandy Creek Covered Bridge. Not a great shot as it was late in the day and the sun had set behind the hills but I was thrilled to know it is there and will go back for a better shot soon!

It was another beautiful day, weather wise, and perfect for a drive. I enjoyed the day and it lifted my spirits. :)
