❤ herons, great egret and anhinga

It was a busy day on the canal yesterday. We often get 2 different kinds of birds visiting but yesterday was amazing! There was a green heron with the great blue heron (see the extra photos). A great egret came by sporting neon green on his face (breeding season). The snakebird/anhinga has come by every day since I first saw him. He swam in the river for me! Lastly, a little blue heron climbed the rocks near the shore. All in the space of an hour!
