Hive

At Kew Gardens for the first time.  Like many others, I was very taken by the 'Hive' installation.

The rest of the garden is very impressive - I would say it's more of an arboretum than a conventional 'garden'.  There are some Victorian glasshouses (the palm house was very impressive, but the Temperate house is being restored) but my lasting impression was one of managed parkland.  I was very pleased to see the spring flowers (see extras) and I can foresee return visits.
