Paperweight

Drove to the Midlands to visit family today.

I attempted to photograph a flock of gulls clearing the lawn of food scraps which had been thrown out, but I was singularly unsuccessful.  (I'll blame the fact that I only had my compact camera with me.)

So I photographed this paperweight instead.  It consists of a small blue thing (probably of plant origin) buried in a lump of multi-faceted glass which produces multiple partial and complete images of the object.
