Carnation Still Life

I had not notice that the sunday still life  challenge had started but thought it a great idea on the 'dreichest' (very self-descriptive scots word) of sunday afternoons. Quickly grabbed the only flowers we have in the house at the moment and used my stand-by background (black velvet) as all of my other backcloths are creased and unusable. Always give a nice crisp result.
