1968 and all that......

......found one of the late hubby's diaries from the year before we met.....so from primary documentary evidence I can tell you that apparently in those days 10 bob would buy you 10 fags, a few pints of IPA and a bag of chips on the way home from the pub on a random Friday night and you could see Joe Cocker 'live' (free entry at the students union) the following week.....pure luxury eh ;-) 
Do they still print the tube map on the inside cover of every UK diary these days?

It's the granddaughters 18th birthday today......I'm feeling old ancient!
