A first!

I've never knitted a fine lace shawl before.  It's been fun and interesting to do, and gives the little grey cells a work out too!  

A foul day of terrific gales, so much so that, out in the country, Mike had problems staying on his feet just getting between the post van and the houses.  Ollie and I managed a few short walks, got soaked each time, and gave up!  Instead I got out the scissors and gave him a bit of a haircut!
