Thunder Storm Ahead....Tophouse Road.

I left Kaiteriteri late this morning and spent time in Motueka visiting my Blipper friend Lizellen. We talked and talked mainly about books and reading. Then I lingered in Motueka itself, side-tracked to Ruby Bay to photograph seascapes and distant cloud formations. Traffic was re-routed at the Appleby Bridge due to a bad vehicle crash so I decided to drive home via Golden Downs Forest and Tophouse... through a dramatic thunderstorm with hail and torrential rain... a very dramatic drive!
