Focus

Slow start, looking out potential holiday houses, then waiting for A to get herself ready. So much time goes into preparing a ‘natural’ look....
We then spent all day round town, being pretty successful with most of what we wanted and enjoying afternoon tea from a voucher I got last year on my birthday (not that we could finish it all!).
Found a great cocktail bar then headed to the theatre to see ‘The Lovers’, a play/dance piece that was set in Vietnam in the 1920s, with a woman remembering an intense but ultimately doomed love affair. Quite good and beatifully staged but somehow a bit unsubstantial.
Home and collapsed with tea to watch ‘Pride’. A hadn’t seen it before and enjoyed it....lovely companiable day with a good step count to boot!
