A delightful garden......

.....full of surprises round every corner......

Mum and I visited mum's friend H who lives in the city. H has a small town house and loves her garden, so much there is not a patch of lawn. There are nicely laid paths with a lovely mix of perennials and annuals basking in dappled light from rhododendrons, tree ferns, maples and camellia's. There are roses, dahlia's and lillies, a garden full of colour for all kinds of seasons. H even has room for a small glass house to potter in and it's not unusual to see vege's planted amongst her flowers. There are plenty of birds which visit her garden, little waxeye's, fantails, blackbirds and thrush. For a small garden this one comes with plenty of punch - it's a delight to visit, we had a wonderful time today :)
