Hailstone and bat

I rushed out to take some pictures of the heaviest hail storm I had seen in a long while. The pictures weren't very good so I started taking shots of some hailstones. This one was sitting on a toy racket with a splash pattern on it and it looked like a water drop. I experimented with cropping to show the close up detail of the different ice textures and bubbles, pattern of the fabric weave, etc. In the end I liked the hail on the splat of the bat.
