Musical

I listed my piano for sale today, having had it for the past 40 years (oh my god, how is that possible?!). It’s moved from house to house with me, including a spell in foster care at my auntie’s house, but has been largely neglected in recent years and needs a bit of refurbishment now. The guy at our local music shop tells me there’s no market for these old pianos any more so my expectations are quite low sale-wise. However, the piano stool is full of vintage sheet music that belonged to the previous owner and I’ll probably list that separately.

In other news, Mum and I did the charity shop circuit today and Dad made a Mildred’s cake (I had two pieces; it would have been rude not to).
