Today's the day ......................... for a red sky at night

After a pretty miserable, drizzly-sort of a day - it all got a bit dramatic as the light began to fail.

The sky went bright red.  The wind picked up and began to positively hurl the very dark-looking clouds across it from the west.  Everything turned into a silhouette - including this scaffolding on a nearby house where they are having the chimneys repaired.

It was very easy to imagine that it was something much more sinister .................
